The Little Theater of Alexandria’s Avenue Q is raucous, rowdy, raunchy, and a total blast!
Spotlighters has created an experience for its patrons. For the most part, I did feel like I was in Anatevka, privy to all the whisperings and Sabbath prayers.
It is TheatreLab’s mission to present things that are different. On this front, they truly succeeded. At times it was entertaining. At times it was intriguing. At all times, it was different.
This truly great pop opera will make you laugh, make you cry, have you humming and tapping along and leave you wanting more as the performers in bare truly bare their souls in a powerfully heartfelt evening of thought-provoking entertainment.
The company and crew of Me and My Girl are rewarded with an appreciative and sharp-eared audience who allows bright and comical strangers to lead them to a place where Duchess Maria is wrong in stating that “Love is for the middle class.”
Overall, Prince William Little Theatre’s Bye Bye Birdie is a fun show with lots of spirit.
Honestly, the talented young cast of POP! truly does pop and you will have a blast watching this novel piece of theater.
A wonderful production that was well cast, sung, and danced. It is not the Judy Garland “Over the Rainbow,” but is a great family-friendly production nonetheless.
I can strongly encourage you to go see Othello. The strong performances result in general great entertainment!
Sometimes you just need good dumb fun, and Henrico Theatre Company’s production of Fools is indeed good, fun, and all about dumb.
