The Flying Muskrat Theatre Company made their public debut as a community theater last Thursday evening with an evening of ten-minute plays and a series of improvisation sketches.
Overall, there are a million reasons to see The King and I.
Fascination is not necessarily fascinating. The 17 characters in the misleadingly titled All the King’s Women are fascinated by Elvis Presley.
Overall, this is not just quality Children’s Theatre; it is quality theatre. Audiences of all ages will delight at this production, so do not be ashamed to show up without a youngster.
The actor should have questions. Many questions, at least at the start of a production.
Altogether, The Merry Wives of Windsor is superior theatre. Go see it; it’s better than TV.
In all, this tale was full of European flavor through excellent dialects, terror from unexpected visitations and subtly executed effects. Moreover, the acting was engaging from the beginning to the end.
Olney Theatre Center’s Sleuth is worth the schlep out there. The theatre is comfortable and the production values are superb.
